Use Reverse Phone Lookup To Identify Unknown Callers

If you’ve read much of this blog you will know I have had my share of trouble with telemarketers. One of the problems is those infamous telemarketer “hang up” calls where you answer a call and there is nobody on the other end.

Things have been pretty quiet on the telemarketing front lately but I know it will start again some day. One thing I have discovered recently are web sites they offer a reverse phone lookup service.image

With a reverse phone lookup you can enter in the telephone number and then you will get back the name and address of the person or company that owns that telephone number.

This type of service is perfect for looking up these mysterious telephone numbers that show up on your Caller ID when you get those “hang up” calls, which I find to me the most annoying of telemarketing calls because there is nobody there to talk to when you answer the phone and you cannot tell them to put your number on their “Do Not Call” list.

Sometimes you can just call the number that shows up on your Caller ID and get in touch with the company that made the call. Other times you get some kind of useless recording or a voicemail system that tells you that you can leave a message and when you try, you get a “mailbox full” message.

One of the popular reverse phone lookup site is Reverse Phone Detective which you can check out by clicking HERE if you like.
